Banc d’essai: Vagues

A cooperative, Ceralep SN is a French manufacturer of porcelain insulators, based in the Drôme for over a century. The company decided to develop, in collaboration with a number of artists, a range of urban furniture made of ceramics, an original material that is still very little used in this sector. With its large capacity kilns, the company's know-how appeals to artists and designers, who are convinced they can design made-to-measure products. Made of ceramic and marble, these objects, with their complementary shapes, duplicated with mirrors, offer simple seats that can be used as single, double or triple seating units, to punctuate the urban landscape in new ways.
