Graduate of the French Higher School of Industrial Design (ENSCI-Les Ateliers), Gaëlle Gabillet founded her studio in 2003 in Paris. She designed the scenography for the exhibitions So Watt! Du design dans l'énergie (for the EDF Foundation), 25 ans aujourdʼhui (for ENSCI-Les Ateliers), City Éco Lab (for the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne 2008) and devised the inaugural exhibition of the Place of Design (Lieu du Design) in Paris. The use of space as a place to experience design led Gaëlle Gabillet to create objects for these institutions. In 2011, she founded the GGSV studio with Stéphane Villard. Their work is exhibited at the Cat Berro, Petite Friture and Made in Design galleries. Gaëlle Gabillet also teaches design and scenography at the Higher School of Art and Design (ESAD) in Reims.
