Matali Crasset's proposition for the Saint-Etienne International Design Biennial is two-fold: the first is dedicated to "nano energy" and is based on the project of transforming man from an energy consumer to an energy generator. As for the Nanocity project it offers children the possibility of designing a city together. They are invited to define the different components of an urban environment; the inhabitants, the constructions, the vegetal and animal worlds. The city is then built by joining together their drawings.
