Cité du design - Bâtiments H
The names of our streets, avenues and squares are still today written on blue cast iron plaques. These plaques represent a heritage which is tending to disappear. The ambition of Type in process is to highlight their specific typography. At the request of the gallery Roger Tator, Bureau 205 questions the relation between heritage and inscription in the context of this specific sign writing. The results of their investigations will be presented at the Saint-Etienne International design Biennial.
