A seed is the past stocked away, an enigmatic present, a dormant future, sheltered from the aggression of an outside world. On awakening, it has, thanks to its genetic heritage, the power to hatch an identity. The seeds of the exhibit Engrainage are made of resin, in colours which reflect flowering. This creation contains switches the public may use to lighten or darken different shared zones. Thus everyone can in turn be an actor or a spectator, taking over space for an Engrainage instant.
