banc d’essai: Mobilier urbain

A cooperative, Ceralep SN is a French manufacturer of porcelain insulators, based in the Drôme for over a century. The company decided to develop, in collaboration with a number of artists, a range of urban furniture made of ceramics, an original material that is still very little used in this sector. By choosing to extend its product range, the company has embarked on a design-based approach centred on three factors: the design of its own range of urban furniture, a programme of special designers' editions and a specific project design office.
