The 9 bols² exhibition seeks to be sober and minimalist, focusing on a single utilitarian piece. Using their know-how as their means of expression, nine artistic craftsmen are exhibiting a series of nine bowls, each of them excluding the monotony of the industrial process. Tradition and innovation rub shoulders in this exhibition where the bowl becomes an objet d'art. An imagined sublime bowl takes shape in the hands of its creator, each unique piece reflecting the originality and the specific identity of its creator and his or her relationship with the material.
The nine artistic craftsmen exhibiting their work: A. Allier (bronze), N. Toxe/ M. Preaux (stoneware), A. Contreras (fibre), A. Ferdinande (wicker), Atelier Emmane (metal), B. Salansonnet (wood), C. Mathias (slate), S. Mommert (combination of materials), E. Moussiere (textile).
