En Passant

An empty space between two spheres, the street, the outside, and the inside of a ground floor room, a rectangular empty space that simultaneously frames two snatches of everyday life: one of a public space and one of a domestic space. The installation entitled En passant turns the proposition on its head by opening a window into a surreal interior, a habitat. This project explores the choices, choices that are always possible for each of us, that can stop us sliding into the rut of standardisation.
